This is the comforting moment when a young elephant met his mother in a sanctuary, and the two embraced each other with their trunks with joy.

The young elephant named Mebai could only spend three and a half years with her mother before she was sold to the tourism industry in Thailand.

It was put on a training program and obliged to entertain visitors to the country because it was the main attraction of an animal riding service.

But because she was too young, the elephant began to lose weight and could not carry tourists, reported Elephant Nature Park, the team behind her eventual rescue.

The volunteers took her out of her miserable situation and took the elephant to the shrine in Chiang Mai province and removed her from the trekking business.

MeBai has included Pamper Pachyderm in the program, a program for tourists that allows animals to be seen in the wild on their own terms.

According to the nature park, the young elephant was nervous when she first joined and was not sure about the people in the sanctuary.

However, she soon learned that the workers at the sanctuary did not pose any threat to her and that they would not abuse her in any way.

Mebai returned to enjoy a happy life, but the story was trying to get even better for the elephant when her mother was tracked in a neighboring sanctuary.

By deciding to adopt the animal, the nature park was able to reunite the elephant Mae Yui with her daughter.

Mae Yui also retired from the trekking industry due to the move and the animals now live together freely and in the wild.

In the touching video, the elephants have an instant connection and stand side by side while emitting a series of sounds.

A woman who gives a voice-over explains that animals communicate with each other through vibrations.

The lady goes on to say: “This is a wonderful time and it confirms that an elephant is never forgotten. Especially the love of the elephant.“

Later he realized that it was a confusing time for the elephants, as they weren’t sure if they would separate again, so they made the most of the moment they had together.
